Garrett ACE 300 on the Beach

Steve Styles walks along the surf line, sweeping the round coil of a Garrett ACE 300 metal detector back and forth across the sand. He listens for the telling beep-beep-beep in his earphones that will alert him to the possibility that he’s discovered something, perhaps of value. Pair of Rings found with Garrett AT MAX lost by Wedding Party

Chris Langston of Oswestry Unearthed was using his Garrett AT MAX metal detector with a friend and two guests from Australia on a patch of land which had recently been used for a wedding party when he discovered one of two rings that had gone missing.The land belongs to Mr and Mrs Johnston, whose daughter had recently held the wedding party on the land.Friends of their daughter had both managed to lose a ring each at the party.Chris said they were lucky to find the one ring and hopes to return to the land to search for the other one....

Necklace filled with ashes found on beach while metal detecting

A Florida man metal detecting is asking for help finding the owner of a necklace filled with a mother's ashes that he found in Siesta Key. Shawn Rauch posted a photo of the necklace, engraved with the word 'Mom,' to Facebook. He is a metal detectorist and was enjoying his hobby when he stumbled upon the necklace in the water on Memorial Day.
