"This is my first metal detector. I don't have a lot to compare it with experience wise, but it is everything it is advertised to be. I've been using the Double Score since January '26. I was brand new to the hobby when I got it and I started finding coins day one. It wasn't long before I had found jewelry, silver coins, various buttons and buckles (shoe and belt) and all kinds of cool stuff. I started by turning it on and getting after it. After a bit of learning and studying, I started tweaking settings, making customs profiles etc. I am sure at some point I am going to be wanting to move up, but I have plenty of room to grow right here. That's what you want, right? Something you can hit the ground running with and as you gain experience, learn some settings and techniques and keep growing honing your skills. Bottom line is, it was my first machine. It served that purpose well. Now, the Double Score is allowing me to grow in the hobby. . . it is May '26 as I right this. My double Score has made me an aspiring detectorist. . . and paid for itself, my accessories and probably the gas I've burned getting around. It's like getting paid to fish. . ."
