Garrett 14" Gold Trap Pan For Prospecting - Metal Detecting Accessories

The Garrett 14" Gold Trap Pan is a well-regarded tool for metal detecting and gold prospecting. Features an innovative, offset acentric design, this pan offers a 33% more floor size compared to conventional 14-inch pans.

Design and Features:

1. 33% Expanded Floor Size:

   • The pan's floor is 33% larger compared to conventional 14-inch gold pans, allowing you to process more material at once, which increases the chances of finding gold.

2. Offset, Acentric Design:

   • An improved performance by creating a longer panning surface. This design helps drive the gold particles down to the large floor space efficiently, enabling faster and more thorough panning.

3. Riffled Surface:

   • Features Garrett’s renowned 90° riffled design, which helps to trap even the smallest gold particles as the water and material move through the pan. This ensures that more gold stays in the pan and less is lost during the process.

4. Lightweight and Durable:

   • The pan is made from lightweight, green plastic, which enhances visibility when panning. The green color helps highlight gold flakes and nuggets, making them easier to spot. Additionally, the plastic is highly durable and capable of withstanding harsh outdoor environments.

5. User-Friendly:

   • Ideal for both beginners and experienced gold prospectors, its design ensures that even those without prior experience can use it effectively. It is also easy to carry and use during long prospecting trips, ensuring comfort throughout.

How to Use:

1. Material Collection:

   • Fill the pan with material collected from riverbeds, stream banks, or other areas where gold might be present.

2. Shaking and Rotating:

   • While shaking the pan slightly, rotate it to allow heavier materials (like gold) to sink to the bottom and lighter materials to be washed away.

3. Final Collection:

   • Once you've sifted the majority of lighter material away, use tools like a snuffer bottle to collect the fine gold from the bottom of the pan.

The Garrett 14" Gold Trap Pan is also included in the Garrett Deluxe Gold Pan Kit.
