Care & Use of Your New Anaconda Shovel

Just like any other tool in your arsenal, your new Anaconda (NX-5 or NX-6) Shovel will serve you a lifetime if properly used and cared for. It was designed to cut through roots and saw clean plugs in grass and dirt, and it's pressure tested to 180 to 200 pounds, so it's a tough and awesome tool, but like anything, it does have limitations. It should not be used as a chisel, auger, or pry bar in frozen ground or solid rock. If you sense full resistance, stop and cut another slice into the ground or remove rocks and soil in smaller sections. Do not bang it against cement or rocks to remove mud, as the heat treated steel can crack under that kind of stress. That being said, we've packed these shovels around the globe for years, and have yet to find a better all-around travel shovel! May you find buckets of gold and silver with your new custom Anaconda Treasure Company (ATC) shovel!

Anaconda NX-6 Long T-Handle 36" shovel

"Great heavy solid metal shovel. Just to short for a tall user 42" would work much better for tall user. Made my lower back and shoulders painful from trying to utilize a short heavy metal excavation shovel. I Had to crouch over and bend-over to use the shovel correctly most of the time. Very exhausting and painful for me, I'm 6'3". 36" is just to short for me to use comfortably. Please inform me when a longer version is available. THANK YOU"

NOX 900 Review

"I ordered the NOX 900 after weeks of review and comparative shopping from Dector Warehouse and they had a bonus 3rd coil package and I made my purchase based on the additional 15x9 at no extre cost. With the 3rd coil being free I used my savings to also purchase the NX-6 Long handle shovel and the waist pack. I received my NOX 900 first and after opening there was no 3rd coil. I was immediately not happy as that was my decision to by incentive. I emailed DW thinking I had been had. The next morning I looked at my UNANSWERED calls and found that I had 3 calls from Jon from DW. I called Jon back and he immediately apologized and informed me that my free coil was on its way and he emailed my the tracking number. No questions asked. Jon had restored my confidence in DW and also provided links for my NOX 900 operating manuals and technical information as well as vidio links. Jon also told my I'm gonna love my new NOX 900 and went on to say it is a "BEAST". Jon you were right. Thank you for the quick response and sending me the extra coil. Oh and by the way the shovel is awesome. Solid construction and will last forever. A bit heavy, but maybe I can sweet talk my wife to carry it. Lol Customer service and product "5" Stars!"
