"Nokta Makro midi hoard is a impressive metal detector designed for kids but suitable for adults as well. It's a great Relic hunter with it's 15khz operating frequency. It's tough design makes it a great waterproof detector for Creek walking in the foothills. As far as depth is concerned you can expect to get around 6"/8" depending on soil conditions.
